God Smiles

Sometimes, when I am watching and listening to people play or sing music, I like to think about how God is listening to them too. I love music because it is so beautiful; it expresses things that are on our hearts that we can't say in words. And sometimes it is just fun to dance to. :) Music draws people together, whether it is in celebration or sadness, or anywhere in-between. I think the musical gifts the Lord has given people are amazing. Oftentimes I can't help but smile when listening to someone sing, or play guitar, or play piano, or whatever it is they love. I like to imagine that when God listens to that music with me, He is looking down on his children and takes joy in seeing that they are using these gifts. He is smiling too.
