I am now working, living, and playing at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center in southeastern Minnesota. I am participating in the year long Naturalist Fellowship program which gives recent grads like me the opportunity to gain experience in environmental education. On a weekly basis I might be instructing one of the high ropes courses here, teaching about fungus, birds, or karst geology, trying to stay current with my homework for our weekly seminar class, and still looking for time to go on a sunset hike with my roommates. We teach classes to school groups primarily grades 5th-8th during the week. Sometimes we get adult groups, confirmation or church retreats, or boyscout troops on the weekends. It's challenging, fascinating, exhausting, fun, and I am learning SO MUCH each day. Stay tuned for more updates on life at Eagle Bluff!
